All the page numbers are the same for both RapidReader and the original PDF for easy reference between documents.

You can even convert and save the PDF to RapidReader Mobile or Palm format to speed-read on your Mobile Phone.

In MS Word you'll see a RapidReader Button placed right on the toolbar. Click on that button and the document will open in RapidReader.

Step 2: Double-Click on Any Word
The ParagraphView

When you launch a file or web page in RapidReader you will see what looks very much like a standard document.

You can read it in the traditional way, just as you would any document. You can skim through it using the scroll bars or use the "find" feature to search for a word.

In fact in many cases, particularly with web pages and PDFs you may find that the uncluttered, large font RapidReader view is easier to read for content than the original.

But that's where the similarity to a standard document ends. You can use the ParagraphView to locate what you want to read and then simply double-click on any word. Instantly, the static document is transformed into a speed reading tool, accelerating your reading speed dramatically with the ease and comfort of watching a movie.

You can always return to this view while you're RapidReading by pressing the spacebar or double-clicking to STOP.

Step 3: Select Your Reading Speed
The TurboView

Select your reading speed between 100-950 words per minute. (Average reading speed on a computer is only about 100 wpm)

There's no scrolling, so you can sit back as far away as you're comfortable, even put your feet up. Then just let the software do the speed reading work for you.

RapidReader's large selectable font size, ergonomic background and optimized color means it's easy on your eyes . You might even be able to put your glasses aside.

You can select the font style and the position of the words on the screen.

If you single-click to pause, the TurboConsole becomes available for navigating back and forth, adding notes, highlites and more without interrupting your reading.

You can see your position in the document and how much you have left to read by simply moving the mouse.

At any time you can double click or press the spacebar to return to the ParagraphView.
