Overview:
Immediate time-savings with this new reading option whenever you choose

RapidReader gives you the choice of reading in the conventional fashion or, with a click of the mouse, using the computer to accelerate your reading speed. Now, for the first time, you can choose how and how fast you'd like to read. Whenever you open a document or web page in RapidReader, your reading speed is up to you.

RapidReader is the result of more than 10 years of research and development into computer assisted accelerated reading. RapidReader's patented method displays words one word at a time at a rate you choose, in the center of your visual field. This unique patented display delivers the text in the cadence and rhythms of human speech. It's not intended as a replacement for the way you currently read nor does it require a course to learn how to do it. It is designed to give you a new reading option, a power tool specifically for the reading you do on-screen. It's always there for you to use whenever you want to make your on-screen reading faster, easier and more comfortable.

Single-click convenience for MS Word docs, Web Pages and more

RapidReader is very easy to use. It is integrated directly into the tool bar of many of your favorite applications. So, with one click on the MS Word or Internet Explorer tool bar for instance, you can immediately accelerate whatever you're reading. You don't even have to be in an application to RapidRead a document. Simply "drag and drop" an MS Word doc, text file or other right on the RapidReader desk top icon. The file will open in RapidReader, usually in much less time than it takes to open in the native application.

Beyond reading speed: powerful tools for information handling

But RapidReader is more than just accelerated reading, it's also a powerful information handling tool. It streamlines and facilitates a wide range of daily information tasks like gathering Internet research, proofreading and editing reports for work, school or business and even collaborating and sharing information.

RapidReader includes Note and Highliter features so you can add your own comments and markup to a document or web page and save the entire file for later review. By saving the file in RapidReader's proprietary .r2d format you can extract your Notes and Highlites for streamlined review or share the .r2d file with colleagues complete with your comments. You can even move it to your mobile device.

For more information see "Using Notes and Highlites" in the help menu.
