File

Open and save documents

Open Browse to open documents in supported file formats.
Open from Clipboard: Read text copied to the clipboard
Save: Save an existing RapidReader (r2d) file to which you've added Markup
Save As: Save a new document as a RapidReader (r2d) file
Export for Mobile Save a document as a RapidReader Mobile (.rrd) file (see help for RR Mobile)
Save User Notes: Will save your User Notes as a separate text file
Save Highlites: Will save your Highlites as a separate text file

Searching through a document

Find: Go to a selected word in the document
Find Again: Find the location of the next occurrence of the word
 
Markup

Using and Viewing Notes, Highliter and Dog-Ear Markers

Create User Note: Opens User Note pad... see "Using Notes" in the help menu
Create Dog-Ear : Creates a Dog-Ear Marker... see "Using Dog-Ears" in the help menu
Add Highlites: Switch to Highlite Mode... see "Using Highliter" in the help menu
Notes Viewer View, access, manage and navigate with User Notes in this Viewer
Highlites Viewer View, access, manage and navigate with Dog-Ear Markers in this Viewer
Dog-Ear Viewer: View, access, manage and navigate with Highlited Text in this Viewer
 
Navigate

Moving through a document

Back a Page: REWIND to top of previous page (NOTE: a page in RR is 280 words)
Back a Paragraph: REWIND to top of previous paragraph
Back a Sentence: REWIND to beginning of most recent sentence.
RapidRead from Selection: The last word read is automatically selected
Forward a Sentence: FAST FWD one sentence
Forward a Paragraph FAST FWD to the next paragraph
Forward a Page: FAST FWD to the next page
"Go To Page" dialog: "Select a page number" to move to that location
 
View View authored content if present, such as courseware and proprietary books

Course Notes: If available in pre-formatted educational or other content
RapidNotes: If available in pre-formatted educational or other content
GlossaryNotes: If available in pre-formatted educational or other content

ParagraphView: If a Table of Contents is present, toggle between T.O.C. and ParagraphView

Options

"Look and feel", fonts and preferences

TurboWord Location: Choose from four screen positions for RapidReading
TurboWord Font Proportion: Choose from four text sizes for RapidReading
Font: Select Font for TurboView, ParagraphView and Notes
View/Hide: The progress bar, page number and speed display in TurboView
Speed: Set the speed for TurboView
Reference Reference materials if available
Open: These may include dictionaries, encyclopedias and more for pre-formatted content
