From the
"Extras" menu, choose
the RapidReader progra any time you want
to RapidRead documents, e-mail, attachments
or SMS messages.

on your device from your PC using the
included installer and your communicator
sync software

When
you select RapidReader you are
given a number of choices in the directory.
You can use it with your existing online
accounts and to synch MS Word or text
documents to your 9210/9290. RapidReader
parses MS Word documents and can save
them in compressed form as an "RR
doc" at less than 15% their original
size.
We have provided
you with some sample files to begin RapidReading
right away. These include a tutorial to
accelerate your reading speed in minutes
as well as an informative MS Word document
and sample SMS and e-mail files.

When
you select a document to RapidRead
this is way the text appears before press
the spacebar to begin RapidReading. As
you can see it looks like a standard document
and you can scroll and read if you wish.
When you want to begin RapidReading, you
can opt to begin on any word by navigating
with the arrow keys or press "spacebar"
to begin at the beginning. Anytime while
RapidReading, if you wish to see the text
in this form, simply hit the "spacebar"
to pause and this format will appear.

When
RapidReading on a Communicator,
you can read effectively at up to 800
words per minute (you will find your own
personal comfort zone). You can change
speeds with the "up/down" arrow,
see your position in a document with the
"progress bar" in the lower
left hand corner of the screen.
Serial SMS messages
are automatically joined into one RapidReader
file based on the sender and time window.
When you are reading
e-mail and attachments, you can "auto
open" all your e-mail in sequence
or go through individually by pressing
"N" for next.
